April donation drive to benefit Midland County first responders

Midland County 4-H is collecting donations this month to support local first responders as part of its Hands Helping Heroes April Community Service Project Challenge.

Local extension office hosting twice-monthly sewing classes

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and Midland County 4-H are inviting anyone interested in learning to sew to join their sewing sessions. The group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 6 to 7 PM at the Midland County AgriLife Extension Office.

Stanton Trade Days April 11-12

STANTON - Old Sorehead Trade Days is coming back to downtown Stanton April 11–12, bringing a full weekend of shopping, food and family fun. There will be dozens of booths with handmade goods, unique finds and other items, along with live entertainment throughout the weekend.

Greenwood ISD has announced details for kindergarten registration for the 2026–2027 school year. Online registration will open April 13 through the district’s website.
