Midland County 4-H is collecting donations this month to support local first responders as part of its Hands Helping Heroes April Community Service Project Challenge.
Organizers say the effort is a way for the community to show appreciation for firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, EMTs and dispatchers who serve during emergencies.
