– Greenwood’s dream soccer season continues after the No. 4-ranked Greenwood Rangerettes started their Class 4A playoff run with an 8-0 Bi-District win on Monday night over El Paso Riverside at Pecos High School.

– Greenwood’s middle school track team made the trip to Fort Stockton last week to compete in the Comanche Relays. The Rangers and Rangerettes had another great meet bring home tons of medals and team championships.

– Greenwood’s soccer season came to an end on Monday at Andrews High School with El Paso Riverside topping the Rangers 3-0 in the bidistrict round of the Class 4A playoffs. Greenwood was within striking distance most of the game trailing 1-0 at halftime and most of the second half.

– Greenwood’s high school track teams competed in the Loboes Relays on Mar. 8 in Moanahans.

– Greenwood’s Boys Powerlifters team were in Abilene over the weekend competing in the Region I 4A Small School Championships. A lifter may qualify for the state meet by either finishing first or second in his weight class or by posting a qualifying total for his class.
