Body CANYON – The Greenwood Rangers survived an onslaught of plays Friday night to beat West Plains High School 28-18 at Happy State Bank Stadium in Canyon. The West Plains Wolves rattled off 92 plays for 224 yards passing and 172 yards rushing.

Greenwood cross county runs at Tall City meet

Body MIDLAND – Greenwood’s junior high and high school cross country teams made the trip to Midland last weekend to compete in the Tall City Invitational at Hogan Park. The varsity girls, junior high girls, and junior high boys ran two miles and the varsity boys ran 5000 meters.

Body GREENWOOD – The Rangerettes volleyball team was in action on Tuesday in a dual meet with Big Spring and Wink at Greenwood High School. Greenwood hammered Big Spring in three straight sets 25-21, 25-13, 25-16.

Greenwood squanders amazing start, falls to Estacado in final minutes

Body MIDLAND Greenwood had a dream start against Lubbock Estacado on Saturday afternoon at Astound Stadium in Midland. However, the Matadors’ rallied with some big plays in the fourth quarter to beat the Rangers 28-24.
