Rangerettes begin season

Body GREENWOOD – The Greenwood Rangerettes scrimmaged the Sweetwater Lady Mustangs on Saturday in Greenwood. Luckily for Sweetwater, it will not be seeing Greenwood again this year. The Rangerettes opened the scrimmage with eight straight service points.

Body GREENWOOD – The Greenwood Rangers unofficially kicked off the season with Midnight Madness last Saturday. Players and coaches ran onto Purser Field at 12:01 a.m. for an intra-squad scrimmage at Greenwood High School.

Fall sports practices are underway

Body Believe it or not, Monday was the first day of high school football and volleyball practice in West Texas and it all got underway in the cooler morning before the sun was too high in the sky.
