A water tower

  • A water tower was installed this week at the Midland County Utility District’s new water treatment facility next to the new Midland County jail in Greenwood on SCR 1140. The tower holds 100,000 gallons of water. The facility also includes two 2-million-gallon tanks that the Greenwood Ranger featured in last week’s edition. MCUD will provide water to the new jail and the new Greenwood ISD elementary and intermediate schools expected to open in August.
