Mrs. Simmons and the GHS CX Debate Team competed at the UIL District debate meet Feb. 7, in Seminole. Weston Cummings and Lindsey White placed 2nd and are advancing to State, in Austin (March 14-16). Aaron Carrillo and Laney Hayes received 3rd place and are alternates to State. Keyen Morgan and Dalton Smith received 5th place. Kassidy Foley and Rylee Vaughn received 6th place. The GHS team brought home the team District Championship.
