Greenwood Marching Band received a Division 1 rating at Regional to advance to the Area competition. On Oct. 21, the band traveled to Abilene and competed in the 4A Area marching Band Contest at Shotwell Stadium. Greenwood was selected as one of the top bands to compete in the Area Finals later that night. After the results were tabulated Greenwood placed 9th.
GREENWOOD – Greenwood High School has released the names of the students qualifying for the A and A/B Honor Rolls as well as those chosen for the Superintendent awards. There were 141 students named to the A honor roll and another 283 students placed on the A/B honor roll for a total of 424 honor students.
