Greenwood sixth grader Ari Herrera had her hair and nails done by cosmetology student Nicole Rayos during a princess makeover event Friday. Greenwood High School cosmetology students gave makeovers to the first 10 elementary girls to sign up, earning credit toward the 1,500 hours required for a state cosmetology license upon graduation.

The sevenacre farm owned by Greenwood couple Jessica & Matt Norton is having a successful 18th season. Once again, attracting families and school field trips from across the Permian Basin. For families who haven’t experienced the farm and its more than 25 attractions this year — hurry, because the season ends Nov. 15.
