MCUD seeks muralist for Greenwood water tank project

The Midland County Utility District is looking for a local muralist to help transform one of its massive water tanks into a piece of art. The district is asking for recommendations for an artist to paint one of its two 2-million-gallon water tanks located at its first treatment plant.
The Greenwood High School One Act Play has advanced to the regional competition after competing at the Area contest Saturday, April 11, at Monterey High School in Lubbock. Several students were recognized for their performances. Rylee Vaughn and Aileny Miranda-Rivero were named to the All-Star Cast, while Kyle Pond and Weston Cummings received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast honors. Abigail Brooks was awarded the Tech Award. The regional competition is scheduled for April 22 at Texas Tech University.
