Body – Fire crews responded to the City of Stanton Landfill Monday morning in response to a fire. The fire broke out in the construction pile at around 10 a.m.

Sinton’s Mitchell Player Of Year on Blue Bell/TSWA Class 4A all-state baseball team

Body – Sinton catcher Blake Mitchell was the player of the year on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association’s Class 4A baseball team. Mitchell batted .457 with 15 doubles, six homers and 42 runs batted in leading Sinton (37-4) to the state tournament.
