Nearly a year into construction, the new Midland County jail is progressing as planned. Drivers passing the site at County Road 1140 and 110 can see crews working on concrete columns and the support slabs that will form the building’s foundation. According to Midland County Public Works Director, Andrew Avis the project is still within budget and on schedule, expected to open November 2026....
