We all know America was based on Christian principles. Those principles have worked wonderfully for over two hundred years. That is , for everyone who is American. I remember when we were in the middle of “World War Two” This nation ran short of money and things. But because we were Americans, every person was willing to do without in order for us to win the war and we did. We had gas coupons, sugar tokens and I don’t remember all the other things because I was young. When those tokens were gone we did without till the first of the month. I never heard anyone complain, because we were Americans and we stood together. I believe we can come back to standing together.
It seems we have a nation of people who mostly look out for themselves. I guess that’s because we have been spoiled by living in such a wonderful country for so many generations. Some vote into office those who might give them the most, the ones who will take the best care of us, so we don’t have to put out any effort to take care of ourselves. I believe true Americans are made of stronger stuff than that.
We have those who try to separate us into hostel groups, because the devil knows “Divided we fall, United we Stand” God has given us the “Instructions to Victory”. We have had these instructions always, but the last few years we have had them revealed over and over, even standing up in our yards.
God promised He would do three things causing us to have victory. He ask that first we do four, four things is not a lot to ask for us and our Nation to be healed, restored and plentiful. Is It ? “ If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land[2Chro.7:14]. Now, that is not even talking to the unsaved. He is talking to Christians. Oh yes I know He was talking to the Jews. However if you are born again, you have been grafted in. So if we ------.
Humble ourselves: Pride and arrogance was the main reason satan was kicked out of heaven. God hates pride. Something like, “I don’t need to go down there to that church to be a Christian. I live just as good as they do.” That may be so, but the Bible says Forsake not the assembling of your selves together. That came out of the same Bible as John 3:16. Can’t chose
the scripture you like and abandon those you don’t.
And Pray: Well you say, I pray almost every day. I almost pray on Monday, almost pray on Tuesday and almost pray on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Prayer is two way communing with God.
Seek My face: The Greek word for seek is something like “To beat a path.” It takes seriousness and time.
Turn from their wicked ways: Remember God is talking to His people. Wicked sounds like the world. We know none of us are perfect, however that does not give us the freedom to live a lifestyle of sin.
Just because it is accepted by the world, does not make it right. God’s Moral laws never change.
THEN: Not before, but when we have done our part. When, we meet His requirements, THEN, God will; That is the four things and then He said IF we do the fou, He will do three. He will--- Hear From Heaven: I hear over and over; whatever happens is God’s will. God is in control. No he is not! Is it His will that babies be rapped, people be murdered. If that’s the case we should never prosecute anyone for anything. He said His Father gave Him all things and He gave to us. He said we were to take dominion. Subdue the Land. Resist the devil. The violent take it by force. Ultimate, all His prophecies will be done. If we don’t do our part we just miss out on our rewards. He will hear from Heaven.
And Forgive our Sin: Notice It says sin, singular, as one nations wrong doing. We pray for our Nation.
And heal our Land: God did this for Israel over and over. Each time they would get a good king and destroy the statues and evil things out of the land, He would heal their land. So if we as a nation will do our four things, THEN He will do His three.
It will all start with each individual. We can start today with humbling ourselves, Renewing our relationship with Jesus. He will give us the ”Instructions to Victory.”
