The Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department responded to a heater treater explosion at an oilfield site on County Road 1130 on Wednesday, May 27 (above). One week earlier, Greenwood crews also assisted with a tank battery fire on FM 1788 (below) that burned for about six hours after reportedly being sparked by a lightning strike.
