GREENWOOD - The Rangerettes hosted the Permian Lady Panthers last Friday and started strong but could not keep pace in the later quarters.
Greenwood took the early 10-8 lead but struggled in the second quarter to fall behind 20-13 at halftime.
Permian exploded in the third to go up 38-23 and went on to win the game 5033.
Kobi Strickland led the Rangerettes with 13 points and Caili McDonald added 11 points.
Kiki Jackson, Odissey Flores, and Grace Franks finished with four, three, and two points respectively.
Greenwood went 6 of 14 (43%) from the foul line and made three buckets from beyond the arc (Strickland 2, Flores 1).
Odessa had a big advantage from the line shooting 18 of 32 (56%).
