MIDLAND - Benjamin Cooper Hunt, 39, was born Sept. 25, 1982, and died July 16, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Kenneth E. Hunt, Jr., on June 9, 2022.
He is survived by his grandmother Jeanie Hunt; his mother Marilyn (Tennessee) Hunt; aunt Sharon (Lisa) McClain; brother Reginald (Emerson) Hunt; and daughter Grace Ainsley Sharry.
He is also survived by Bryan Stephens, whom he loved as a brother and was loved as a brother in return.
Ben spent most of his childhood in Greenwood where he attended both St Ann's Catholic School and Greenwood ISD, where he graduated from High School. He was raised in the Catholic tradition at St. Ann's Catholic Church by his grandparents.
After high school, he lived many places around and outside of Texas, including San Marcos, Houston, Dallas, San Angelo, Plainview, Phoenix, AZ, and the greater Denver area in Colorado.
He loved travelling and being in both large cities and nature alike. While his death was due to a heart condition, his heart was full of love and kindness for those around him. He would lend aid to anyone and everyone he was able to. He often expressed that if he could help someone, then he should help them. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
His funeral was Aug. 5 at Christ Church Anglican in Midland.
