The Greenwood Rangers split their games with Sweetwater and Alpine over the past week. The Rangers were on fire against Sweetwater putting up a staggering 90 points to crush the Mustangs 90-54. Tatum Pierce was upstoppable scoring a gamehigh 46 points. Ty Pressley added 15 points, while Ethan Madrid and Colton Rauman had six points each. The contest with Alpine was a close battle through the first half with the Fighting Bucks taking a slim 35-34 lead. Second half action was dominated by Alpine’s 34-17 run in the third quarter earning the Bucks an 84-63 win. Pierce led Greenwood with 24 points followed by Kevin Prieto with 14, Reagan Burchfield with 10 and Presley added seven.
