- The Greenwood softball team placed second in the gold (Concho) bracket over the weekend at the San Angelo Tournament.
Greenwood (7-5) placed first in its pool with wins over Little Elm and Amarillo Tascosa before losing a game to Bushland. No scores were reported.
In bracket play, the Rangerettes defeated San Angelo Central before losing to Pampa in the championship game.
Greenwood is competing in the Little Elm Tournament this weekend.
