Purser resigns post after four seasons

Greenwood athletic director and head football coach Rusty Purser has resigned his post after four seasons leading his alma mater Greenwood ISD to pursue other opportunities.
Purser stated that the timing seemed right to make a move for him and his family and that he would probably remain in coaching.
