Body Keelee Stanislaus, a 26-yearold nurse at Martin County Hospital District, has been awarded the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses—a national honor that recognizes nurses who go above and beyond for their patients.

Flag retirement ceremony slated for June 14

Body A flag retirement ceremony will be held at 1884 Plaza (Convent) 301 E. Carpenter; Stanton on June 14 at a time to be determined This ceremony is a fitting tribute and expression of patriotism, enhancing the public's understanding of the honor and respect due the US flag.

Body Memorial Day is May 26th, and in preparation for services that day, volunteers are requested to meet at Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, May 24 at 8:00 am to set American flags on soldiers graves. Anyone wishing to help is welcome and appreciated.
