Several Greenwood athletes named academic all state

  • Two first year freshman, Danna Ferrer De Lamadrid and Dalton Smith, represented Greenwood High School well at the Regional Congressional Debate tournament last month. Danna placed fourth making her the alternate to the state tournament.

    Several athletes from around Greenwood High School have been recognized by the Texas Army national Guard and the Texas High School Coaches Association as Academic All-State Recipients. The students’ performance in the classroom can sometimes be difficult to manage while participating in athletics.
