- The Greenwood Rangerettes were a long way from home last weekend competing in a basketball tournament at Navarro High School in Seguin.
Greenwood started the tournament strong picking up two quick wins.
The first win was a double digit victory over Corpus Christi King.
The Rangerettes jumped out to a 15-8 lead and held a 26-20 halftime lead.
