    - The Midland County Utility District (MCUD) held a public meeting at Brooks Middle School in Greenwood on Tuesday to explain a proposed $645 million bond that would fund a districtwide water system over the next decade. If voters approve the measure on May 3, MCUD says it will be able to provide pressurized drinking water and fire suppression infrastructure to all residents within its boundaries.
