Rooster’s holiday festivities continue
Rooster’s Backyard is excited to announce more holiday fun over the coming weeks.
The Second Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party will be Dec. 17 starting at 7 p.m.
Dress your best and join and stop by for a night of food, festive drinks, and a ton of tacky fun.
Then on Dec. 31, Roosters will host a New Year’s Eve party with DJ Jeff at 7 p.m. followed by DJ Manny at 10 p.m.
There is no cover charge and a champagne toast is planned for midnight.
Santa is coming to
Greenwood Dec. 17
GREENWOOD - Hey Greenwood Santa is coming to town.
Come join The Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department on Dec. 17 from 1 pm to 4 pm for hot chocolate and cookies.
Get pictures with Santa and climb on all the firetrucks.
Youth sports basketball update
GREENWOOD Greenwood Youth Sports Boys Basketball Coaches are still needed
•1st/2nd grade - need 1 coach
•3rd/4th grade - none needed
•5th/6th grade - need 4 coaches Player registration still open
•1st/2nd grade - FULL
•3rd/4th grade - FULL
•5th/6th grade - 15 spots open
Mandatory Tryouts will be on Monday, December 19th. All players must show up:
•1st/2nd Grade - 6 o’clock, old elementary gym
•3rd/4th Grade - 6 o’clock, new elementary gym
•5th/6th Grade - 7 o’clock, new elementary gym
