Midland County didn’t have a very good turnout with less than 20% of the registered voters casting a ballot in the Primary elections.
Midland’s most contested race was for sheriff. Incumbent David Criner was looking to get re-elected over challengers Rory McKinney and Justin Painter.
With the ballots counted, Criner won his bid for reelection with 7,550 votes or just over 51.11%.
