GREENWOOD - The Greenwood 12U Little League All-Star team came within one out of winning the sectional championship before falling to Lubbock Western in extra innings.
The championship game was played July 1 in Pecos. Greenwood lost 6-5 after battling through two extra innings to finish as the sectional runner-up.
