The Greenwood Rangerettes split a pair of district matches, defeating Fort Stockton in four sets before seeing an early two-set advantage slip away in a five-set loss to Andrews. Greenwood opened the stretch with a 25-8, 13-25, 2518, 25-18 victory over Fort Stockton.

The Greenwood Rangerettes closed out their pre-district schedule in dramatic fashion Saturday, overcoming Midland Lee 28-26, 25-17, 21-25, 26-24 in a four-set thriller at home. The opening set set the tone for the afternoon as neither team was willing to give ground.
