Payton, Rodriguez compete among nation's best in Oregon
Greenwood's Dylan Payton and Andrick Rodriguez competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals in Eugene, Oregon. Payton also qualified for the USA Track & Field U20 Championships and earned First-Team All-American honors in the championship 400-meter hurdles, while Rodriguez competed in the championship 400 and the club 4x400-meter relay.
EUGENE, OR - For four days in June, Greenwood athletes Dylan Payton and Andrick Rodriguez found themselves competing at the same venue as Olympians, college athletes and some of the nation's fastest high school runners. The two traveled to Eugene, Oregon, known as 'TrackTown USA,' for Nike Outdoor Nationals at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field.
