Two-pitcher shutout, Whiteside’s big bat power Greenwood over Pecos

PECOS — A dominant outing on the mound and a perfect day at the plate from Beckam Whiteside propelled the Greenwood Rangers to a 6–0 shutout victory over Pecos on Friday.
Greenwood leaned on a one-two punch in the pitching staff, as Isaac Montes and Stetson Gonzalez combined to silence Pecos’ offense.
Montes set the tone early, tossing six shutout innings while allowing just one hit.
