Body – The Greenwood Rangerette and Ranger varsity basketball teams suffered heartbreaking district losses to Andrews and Seminole respectively. The Rangerettes battled Andrews last Friday and neither team could find any rhythm as the referees dominated the game calling 42 fouls.

Body – Greenwood left the comfort of the Permian Basin last week to take on one of the top Panhandle teams in Lubbock-Cooper. Greenwood as always started the game high paced and with high pressure defense.

Body – It’s a great start to the season for the Greenwood girls soccer team opening with a 3-1 victory over Midland Legacy JV at the Legacy High School turf field on Tuesday. Scoring goal for Greenwood were Emily Jones, McKenzie De La Rosa, and Kyra Pivaral.

Body GREENWOOD - The Rangerettes hosted the Permian Lady Panthers last Friday and started strong but could not keep pace in the later quarters. Greenwood took the early 10-8 lead but struggled in the second quarter to fall behind 20-13 at halftime.
