LUBBOCK – Pampa knocked Greenwood out the playoffs with a victory during Tuesday’s Class 4A bi-district round game at Rip Griffin Center on the campus of Lubbock Christian University.
Pampa started the game with some very aggressive defense that caught Greenwood off guard forcing several turnovers and some easy fast break points.
The Rangerettes (18-18) finally settled in andrallied back to trail 20-17 early in the second quarter.
Unfortunalety, Pampa exploded offensively with a 25-6 run for a 45-23 lead.
Greenwood continued to fight the rest of the second half outscoring Pampa by 10 points but it would not be enough as the Harvesters went on to win 60-48.
Kodi Hartman led Greenwood with 12 points, Adison Savage and Allyson Jackson scored 10 each, Caili McDonald had eight and Brinkley Smith had six.
