– Greenwood’s soccer season came to an end on Monday at Andrews High School with El Paso Riverside topping the Rangers 3-0 in the bidistrict round of the Class 4A playoffs.
Greenwood was within striking distance most of the game trailing 1-0 at halftime and most of the second half.
Then, 20 minutes into the second half, Riverside scored off a nice cross for a 2-0 lead.
