SEMINOLE – The Greenwood Rangerettes are heading into the Class AAAA state playoffs beating Seminole 25-17, 25-27, 2523, 25-15 to clinch a playoff spot on Saturday. The Rangerettes (23-17, 6-4 in District 3-4A) swept the series against Seminole and then secured the District’s No. 2 seed winning in straight sets over Pecos on Tuesday 25-21, 25-19, 25-19. Against Seminole, Greenwood’s Presley Watzl had 22 digs, Esme Pando had a double-double with 16 assists and 10 digs, Kate Crunk was credited with 12 blocks, Adison Savage compiled 13 digs and Kirk Smith and Ashlyn Lang each had eight kills.
