Local couple celebrates 70th anniversary

Body – Their love story has spanned eight decades and last week they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary at home in Stanton. In 1953, a then 19-yearold Charles Butler was introduced to 17-year-old Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Butler by Bobby Joe Gray at the Belvue Restaurant in Stanton.
