Body I remember the time my wife and I decided to get away for a few days so we went to the beach. One day while we were walking along the beach and watching the waves we noticed some people that were very busy.

The 5th grade 2023 Kickball Tournament was won by team Cowins Cobras. The final game in the tournament was one to be talked about for years to come. Cobras won 6-5 over Mrs. Harrison’s Hooligans to clinch the title.

Body – Greenwood’s Cinderella season continued Saturday afternoon after sweeping Canyon in the Class 4A regional quarterfinal playoff series at Lubbock Cooper High School’s First United Park. Greenwood had everything working on Friday, winning big over the Canyon Eagles 7-1.

Body – The Greenwood Rangers made short work of Clint last week in the Class 4A area round of the playoffs at the Cyclone Fields in Pecos. Greenwood snatched the lead late in Game 1 for an 8-4 victory.

Rangers take third in State BBQ cook-off

Body - The Greenwood High School “Smokin’ Rangers” finished third this past weekend at the Texas High School BBQ State Championship held in Round Rock. The team consisted of junior Mya Hickey, sophomore Mateo Soliz and junior Kacee Villareal.
